FAQ

Questions we
hear all the time.

If your question isn't here, just text or call us at (786) 302-6056. We're pretty easy to reach and will get back to you same day.

General
Where do you work?+

All of South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties. We've worked everywhere from Key Biscayne to Jupiter. If it's within a reasonable drive, we'll be there.

Are you fully insured?+

Yes. We carry general liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance directly to your venue. Most South Florida venues require this and it's never been an issue for us.

What types of events do you do?+

Weddings, corporate events, galas, birthday parties, quinceañeras, bar and bat mitzvahs, private parties, product launches, charity events — if it needs production, we've probably done it.

How far in advance should I book?+

For weddings during peak season (October through April in South Florida), 4–6 months out is the sweet spot. Some popular weekends in November and December book out earlier than that. If you're planning a summer wedding, you have more flexibility — but we still recommend not waiting until the last minute because our best packages require time to plan properly. Last-minute bookings happen and we'll always tell you honestly whether we can do your event justice on short notice.

Do you work with a coordinator or planner?+

Yes, and honestly it makes everything smoother. We work with planners and coordinators constantly — we share the run of show, align load-in times with the venue, and stay in communication leading up to the event so nobody's guessing on the day. If your planner has a preferred way of working, we adapt. Just introduce us and we'll take it from there — your coordinator doesn't need another vendor to manage.

Equipment & Setup
What gear do you use?+

For DJ: professional media players and mixer. For sound: line arrays and subwoofers matched to the room. For lighting: LED uplights and stage fixtures. For LED walls: indoor-rated panels. We use touring-grade gear across the board, not consumer equipment.

What's your backup equipment policy?+

We bring backup gear for every critical system — amplifiers, DJ controllers, mixers, microphone receivers. Not because we expect something to fail, but because when you have a couple's first dance or a CEO's keynote moment on the line, "it usually works fine" isn't good enough. Equipment issues have never stopped one of our shows. That's not luck. That's preparation.

Can you handle outdoor events?+

Yes. Everything we use is rated for outdoor South Florida conditions — humidity, heat, salt air. We also build weather contingency plans into every outdoor event. If rain is a possibility, we have a plan before we show up.

How long does setup take?+

It depends on the scope of the event. A DJ-only setup might take 1–2 hours. A full production setup (sound, LED walls, lighting, effects) could take 4–6+ hours. We always build our setup time into the load-in schedule with your venue so your guests never see the process.

Services & Pricing
Do you do custom packages?+

Yes. Almost every event we do is a custom package. You tell us what you need, we tell you what makes sense, and we price it out clearly. No surprises in the proposal and no hidden fees at the end.

What does a typical wedding package include?+

It varies by venue and what you want, but a typical package includes DJ/MC for ceremony and reception, ceremony audio, uplighting, and setup/breakdown. From there you can add effects, string lights, musicians, or LED walls. We'll walk you through what makes sense for your specific event.

I found a cheaper DJ. Why is there such a price difference?+

It's a fair question. The difference usually comes down to experience, equipment, and what happens when something goes wrong. A cheaper option might not carry backup gear, might not have worked with your venue before, and might not understand how to read a room or coordinate a run of show under pressure. You won't notice any of that until the night of — when it's too late to fix it. We're not the right fit for every budget, and we'll always tell you that honestly. But if you're comparing quotes, make sure you're comparing the same thing.

Do you require a deposit?+

Yes. A deposit holds your date — we don't hold dates without one, and we can't guarantee availability if someone else inquires for the same day. The balance is due before the event. Our contract is straightforward — no fine print that contradicts what we told you, no surprise fees at the end. What's in the proposal is what you pay.

What happens if something changes or goes wrong day-of?+

It happens. Run of show changes, a song swap at the last minute, ceremony starting 20 minutes late because a limo got stuck in traffic — we've seen it all. We don't need to be managed in these moments; we adapt and keep going. Our job is to make sure you never feel the hiccup, even when one happens. That's the whole point of experience.

Do you do lighting design consultations?+

Yes, and we enjoy doing them. Lighting is one of the most underrated elements of event design — the right setup transforms a space completely. We'll walk you through options for your specific venue, show you what works at your scale, and help you understand what's worth adding versus what's just extra spend. It's one conversation that usually saves a lot of back-and-forth later.
