South Florida-based. Fully insured. Started behind a DJ booth at a family friend's wedding and never stopped. What began as a solo operation is now a full production crew covering everything from FOH sound to stage lighting to cold spark pyro.
It started with a family friend asking me to DJ their wedding. I had never done it for money before, so I learned, I showed up, I figured it out. The night went well. More importantly, I loved it. That was the beginning of Baseline Studio.
From there it grew, slowly at first, then all at once. Clients started asking for more: "Can you handle the sound?" "What about the lighting?" "We saw those cold sparks at someone else's wedding, can you do that?" We kept saying yes, kept investing in the equipment and the crew to back it up.
Now we're a full production operation. DJ, FOH sound, LED walls, uplighting, stage lighting, special effects, live musicians. We coordinate all of it and run it together at every event we take on. We've worked across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach at weddings, quinceañeras, galas, corporate events, bar and bas mitzvahs, award shows, and private parties.
Every event has hiccups. That's just the reality. The job is making sure the client never knows about them. That's what we focus on.
Founder & Lead Producer, Baseline Studio
I started in this industry the way most people do, someone needed a DJ and I said yes before I fully knew what I was doing. That was my first wedding. I was hooked from the moment the room came alive.
Since then I've built Baseline Studio into a full production crew covering South Florida. I've personally produced hundreds of events across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, weddings, bar and bas mitzvahs, quinceañeras, corporate galas, award shows, and private parties at venues like the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, The Bath Club, Turnberry Isle, and the Westin Diplomat.
What I learned early: the DJ is just one part of what makes a night work. Sound engineering, lighting design, special effects timing, crew coordination, all of it matters, and all of it has to work together. That's why I built a company that handles the whole production instead of just one piece of it.
I'm involved in every event we take on. Not just on paper, I'm on-site, running the show alongside the crew. That's not changing.
We load in hours before your guests arrive. Everything gets tested. Backup gear is staged and ready, because something always has the potential to go sideways, and that's not your problem to deal with on the night.
Planners and coordinators. We know you're managing a lot. We coordinate directly with you and the venue, we don't disappear between the contract and the event date, and we show up knowing the run of show before anyone has to remind us.
A lot of people shop on price without knowing what they're actually comparing. We're not the cheapest option. But when something goes sideways mid-event, and at some point it always does, you want a crew that handles it without the client ever knowing it happened.
Tell us what you're putting together. We love this part, hearing about the event and figuring out exactly what it needs. We don't work off templates. Just a real conversation and a quote that fits.
